This web site utilizes some unique or rare special features. Even the big boys like eBay and Amazon.com do not possess many of these features.

• Skip Login / Login
  Your choice of login or skipping the login. Most users hate logins and would rather re-enter their information every single time. Other users are more tolerant. Works either way. (Rare)

  The ability to display all menus and food items on the same page simultaneously (Rare), e.g.

  • Commentary: This is a feature useful to small web stores of a few hundred items. Feature is not available at yahoo stores, ebay stores, amazon shops.
• Dorm Deliveries option
  Delivery option that has a pull down list of specific dorm buildings to which delivery should be sent. (Unique)
  • Commentary: Local shipping options for local restaurants. You won't be seeing that anytime soon with the other e-commerce players.
• Editable Food customization
  Product customization is not something new. Even Dell can do that with its computers. Where this system differs is that the customizations can be edited once the food item is placed in the shopping cart. (Rare)
• Javascript update pricing
  As you click on customizations, the total cost will update with each mouse click. (Rare)

  • Commentary: ebay has been struggling to get this feature operational for years. Instead of one layout for their item listing, they now have two. Compare that to this web site. In four hours, a staff developer can create a new layout. No need to wait for years.
• Single seller, multiple users
  One restaurant can be controlled by multiple users, e.g. business owner, owner's brother, accountant, staff clerk, etc. (Rare)
  • Commentary: Imagine if eBay could do this, but they can't. Most of the e-commerce players are stuck with the one account, one user mentality.
• Multiple seller, single user
  Multiple restaurants can be controlled by a single user, e.g. owner of multiple franchise locations. (Rare)
